Hello Search The City Fan-Base // New Black Gold Society Followers // Planet Earth
On behalf of Search The City, we wanted to apologize for the lack of updates concerning the fundraiser and the whereabouts to your orders. Things have been a little crazy here at Black Gold Society: Coordinating all things Search The City, organizing all aspects of the fundraiser and fine tuning a gigantic new secret project for this year…all while holding down day jobs. However, we have absolutely not forgotten about you.
Fear not. Your orders are safe and sound in a special folder, in a treasure chest hidden somewhere in our dungeon. The only person that knows how to get to it is our shipping manager and he doesn’t seem to be talking…
With that being said, it’s time to answer the question that’s burning in most of your minds, “When will I be getting my stuff?!”
We will be keeping the fundraiser going until March 8th to ensure that the band can meet their goal of raising $9000. This means our new timeline to ship out your donation rewards will most likely be in Mid-Late March. We know thats a little further off than what was originally planned, but we assure you its for a good reason. The band is merely $3355 away from hitting their target and having the record in completion, in their possession. We still need a little more help to get there. Here is how you can assist Search The City in making sure this record comes out!1)Make a donation.
Might we suggest the Phoenix T-Shirt package? You get your name in the new record’s credits and on the back of the shirt along with others that contributed. What about this awesome screen print? We just put up a new item and updated the price of another. Maybe you’d be interested in either of these?

Heads Up! Fundraiser/Record Update.
We’re officially a fourth of the way to our goal!
Thank you to everyone who has made a donation to make this record a reality. You are the best and we’re too excited to show you what we’ve been working on for so long.
Travis is finishing vocals up in the next few days or so. All the music is tracked and then we go into the mixing stage. For those that won a gang vocal part on our Stage-it Perfomance and for those that donated to our fundraiser, we will be sending you a template shortly so keep an eye out out for that. As for the “BE ON THE RECORD” package, we will be taking it down on January 7th so that we stay on track for finishing it! Make sure you donate before then so we have as many of our fans sing along with us as possible.
